Two bedside lamps for under €60
Matching bedside tables do not have to double a large budget. We compare Jolira and Vaska using their dimensions, pair price and shade width.
Work out the cost for both bedside tables
The Jolira reference checked costs €23.95 each, or €47.90 for two. Vaska costs €29.99, or €59.98 for two. With a €60 limit, the first pair leaves €12.10 and the second €0.02. Check bulbs and delivery before buying.
What fits on a 40 cm-wide table
Jolira’s shade is 25 cm in diameter. Centred on a 40 cm table, it leaves 7.5 cm on either side. Vaska takes up 27 cm, leaving 6.5 cm on each side. Test this strip with a paper template if you keep glasses beside the bed.
Compare with the lights on and off
Jolira’s wavy base remains interesting during the day. Vaska’s cream colour suits a more uniform pair. At night, check the view from your pillow too. If you can see the bulb, try a different height before buying both lamps.
